    a few minutes looked at the old woman again but behold she had vanished. He went to the place where he saw her, but could find no trace of her anywhere. He searched every nook and corner around, but could find not a trace or tidings of her. He often said that if the Banshee did exist that should be one.
    Many people believe there is a banshee. Many others claim to have heard one, and others still claim there is no such thing. The belief among many of the "Locals" here is that there was one, but that it is not heard now.
