  1. The old people are well versed in ancient cures and remedies. They used those cures and had never anything to pay to Doctors.
    Cure for Whooping Cough, Stand at the cross roads and wait there until a man comes along riding on a white horse and ask him the cure for a whooping cough and whatever he says will cure the cough.
    Cure for Sore Throat, Put the stocking of your left foot around your throat.
    For Jaundice, Boil primroses in milk and drink the liquid.
    For a sprain in the foot, wash your foot in potato water.
    For mumps, Heat salt in the lid of a pot and put it into a stocking and then lay it against your neck.
