The bread of long ago was very different also, sometimes it was wheaten bread or they often called it "boxtai" or "stampi". They made it from boiled potatoes or sometimes the grated ones. They ate very nourishing food and they had a big supper at about eight oclock which consisted of potatoes, butter, sauce, and milk.- Collector
