- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)And Tom replied that it was. Bringing his ass and cart to a standstill at the same time. Another little man came up to him, and another, another, and another, and at last a whole crowd of little men came up and four of them carryin' a coffin. The leader of them came up to Tom and, says he to him - "We want you to carry this corpse as far as the graveyard", placing the coffin in the cart. They ordered poor Tom to get up beside the coffin. They wheeled his ass on the road and formed up a funeral procession after the cart and started for the graveyard. At last they came to the graveyard, and they took out the corpse and told Tom to go home.Tom didn't know where he was, but he sauntered along 'till about daybreak when he found himself on the bridge of Croom about seven miles form Patrickswell. That ended Tom's dailin's with the fairies
