    Food in olden Times
    The food long ago was different from that of the food nowadays. The food that people ate in former times was potatoes and thick milk. The three meals they ate were breakfast, dinner and supper and these consisted of potatoes and thick milk.
    In the morning the people were up at four o'clock, and had breakfast at seven o'clock. When they were eating they brought the table out in the centre of the floor and sat round it.
    I do not know whether the table was hung up when they were finished eating or not.
    The bread was made at home
