  1. Festival Customs
On St. Stephen's Day young boys, called "Mummers" go from house to house with old clothes on them and masks on their faces so that the people could not know them. Some play music and others dance. Then the people give them money, and they go away to another house.
Some of the boys are out in the morning almost before the people are up and they do not go home until dark of night.
The money is divided among the boys. Young boys buy sweets and big boys get up a dance out of the money.
