    Laurence Dillon the local poet of about one hundred years ago, was going to a hurling which was to be played in the little village of Moneygall. On his way he met a man. The man enquired of him where he was going. Laurence promptly answered "I am going to face the root of evil and the bitterest thing in the world" (Money - gall)
