  1. The General Judgment Day,
Must all the sons of earth obey,
In shape and person must appear,
Before their Lord, their doom to hear.
    II
That day must be a day of dread,
The sea and earth must yield their dead,
In shape and person as before,
But to their graves return no more.
    III
Then Christ our Lord will come with speed,
To every man his crime to read,
It is there the Angels will attend,
Their Lord, their Master, and their Friend.
    IV
All ye Blessed, come unto Me,
    To live in joy eternally
For ye have done my Father's will.
His holy laws ye did fulfill.
    V
Then to the wicked God will say,
Ye have become the dragon's prey,
With fiends' and serpents' ye must go,
    To live in everlasting woe.
