    We play hand ball and cricket.
    We play spy and here we go round the Mulberry bush. High-gates, and well is my wish to get married. And where will the pig sleep. We play Gerryrainm[?] prisoners. sending one another to the town, and we play making a shop.
    We play babby house alley. And we play hide and go seek. In spring we look for birds' nests, and the boys go robbing crows' nests. In autumn we pick black-berries, plums, nuts, mushrooms, and apples. We play Blind man's buff, catching ducks in the water.
