In olden times there were two forges in the parish. One of them was at the Ford in Aughlee and the other was at Grawn Bridge in Ballinahinch. If a person had warts and he washed them in the forge water it would cure them. - There is only one tailor in the district now. In olden times there was a tailor known as a journeyman tailor who used to go from house to house making clothes. His name was John Ryan and he lived at Glen Cottage , Killoscully.(continues on next page)
