“One night as my grandfather was coming in the road from a house...”
One night as my Grandfather was coming in the road from a house which belongs now to Jack Ryan he was walking along the road when all at once a woman with a coarse apron stood before him. He looked at the woman and he thought she was only codding him and he went to walk on along the road but she would not let him. He went down Hammersly’s passage leading into the house and when he went into the house he told them he was stopped as he was going in home(continues on next page)
