  1. Fairy Forts
There are two forts near my home. They are named Kennedy's Fort of Carhue and Buckley's Fort of Glenbeg Gortnoora. They are a half-mile apart. There are two forts also situated at Glown and Shevry in this parish, which are also a half mile apart.
Kennedy's fort is ring shaped with bushes growing inside. Buckley's fort is also circular, and has a large stone in the middle of it.
A fiddler used to come from Moher to Moakland to play music, and as he was passing one of those forts he thought he heard music.
