    Sure you'd rather be stealing
    Than saying, Amen" Paddy O Raferty
    "Sure, you would not be angry," says Pat
    "If you knew
    The best of intentions that I had in view
    For I stole it to make
    A present to you
    And you can obsolve me if you only do
    "Oh," begone," says the priest, "you sin-blended[?] owl
    Go, give back to the man
    That you stole from his fowl
    Or if you do not it will
    Be worst for you 'sowl' (soul)
