A cure for this disease was to put the patient under a female donkey and say the words "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost."
Then a piece of bread was given to the donkey and a piece of bread was given to the person who had the cough. Another cure was to give a ferret some milk and give some of the same milk to the patient. Warts:
When a child had warts she went to a neighbours house and stole a piece of meat and buried it until it decayed , and while the meat was decaying the warts disappeared. They were also cured by rubbing washing-soda with the fasting spit on them for nine(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
