    up to the year 1905.
    White brought cows known as Kerry cows to graze on the land. The cattle went mad and a man named Scully shook holy water on them for White. The following Sunday at Mass the parish priest named Father Meade asked who shook the holy water on the cattle. He got no response and after asking three times, Father Meade said the people would know before they left the Church ground. Scully's hand was at that moment struck by his side paralysed , and he could not move it. In that state he died.
