    protection against the weapons of warriors of that time. Old people tell tales of people long ago seeing "Leiprecans" and such people in and around these forts and a tale is still told of some man catching a Leipreacan and he was never poor after.
    The one time owner of the "Sidebean" is supposed to have cut trees in this Fort and in the process got a stroke in the eye and he could never see after.
    Almost every night lights are seen travelling from one fort to another but these are supposed to be no harm to anyone. My Grandfather tells a tale
