    man having done as he was told, rode all day with the exception of one. They all failed to find a happy man.
    Late that evening when returning one of the men saw a man lying on his back on a bank nearby, singing a song. Believing this man to be very happy and lighthearted he asks him was he really happy and he replied, "I'm as happy as the days is long." "For a man like you I have been seeking all day," said the servant. "I am willing to buy your shirt at any price." The poor but happy man replied, "That I cannot do for I possess no shirt."

  2. Once upon a time a man lost a pig, and he went to the priest to tell him to publish it off the altar, the Sunday after. He told the priest that he would stand up when he would say it, to let all the people know that he owned the pig. When he came out he said
