- (continued from previous page)When a change for wet weather comes the cricket creeps out of his hiding place and starts singing around the hearth. The midges come down out of the sky when it is going to be wet, as do the flying ants. When we see the beetles creeping around the house at night, it is a sign that we are going to have a little rain. Showers may come when the spider is seen creeping along the wall.
