  2. The robin's nest is round. It makes its nest of moss, hair and feathers. It lays four or five eggs. Their colour is speckled brown. The blackbirds nest is round like a basin. It is made of mud and hair. The eggs are blue.
    The thrushe's nest is the same shape as the other two. It makes it with hair and moss. Its eggs are streaky.
    The sparrow's nest is round. It makes it of hay and lines it with feathers. The eggs are white.
    The crow makes its nest with sticks and hay or straw. The eggs are speckled blue. It is round also.
