    Coughs are cured by steeping onions and sugar in water and drinking the juice.
    Warts are cured by dipping them in the water in which a smith cooled the iron.
    Mumps are remedied by putting dry salt in a stocking and tying it around the neck.
    If very hot drinks are given to a person who has measles the measles will all come out through his skin and the person is cured.
    A very heavy poultice of linseed meal put to the chest was a cure for bronchitis.
    Corns are cured by lighting a candle and letting the grease fall on them.
    Eczema is cured by mixing cream of tartar, sulphur and treacle and taking a spoon of it every day.
    When a person gets a cut and cannot stop it bleeding there is a weed growing called the "Feabhpán" get the dust of it and put it on it.
