The Ragwort or Duachalán Buidhe is a cure for Yellow Jaundice. - Long ago people made their own cures. They used to put white bread stuped in boiling water to an earache. Another cure for an earache was to put flannels steeped in boiling water up to it.
To put pepper and bread-soda into a toothache it would cure it. Another cure for toothache was to redden a knitting needle and get someone to put it on the tooth. This was among the best cures to be found long ago.
