    with a lot of pipes and drawn by a horse. As the sprayer moves along a spray comes out on the potatoes. The potatoes are picked about September or October. When they are picked they are taken into the haggard and thrown beside a pit. The pit is a hole about ten or twelve feet long, three or for feet deep, and about nine inches deep. Then they are choosen to take the small ones and the bad ones out. The remainder are put into the pit, and covered with clay, and straw, and they are taken out when they are wanted.
