    I often heard my father say the following little rhyme about nettles.
    If you touch a nettle gently,
    It will sting you for your pain;
    Grasp it like a man of metal,
    And it as soft as silk remains.
    Spunk is a very soft weed but it is very hard to pull it. The farmers don't like it at all because it is a very hard weed to kill.
    Dandelion grows in grazing land and sometimes in an a garden. It has a yellow blossom.
    Dock leaves grow from long roots. They grow in shady places mostly
    Ferns grow on the side of a hill or an mountain or in a bog. They have a brown colour and a pink blossom.
    Preshock grows in in bret, wheat, turnips, marigolds, and potatoes. It has a yellow blossom. Farmers don't like preshock at all because it is a very hard weed to pull, and it is a sure sign the land
