  1. The youths of Ireland have always displayed a great fondness for games and manly sports. Our history tells us many interesting feats of our ancestors. The boys and young men of ancient Erin loved to show their prowess on the athletic field as they wished to show their bravery on the field of battle. The children too play their own games.
    My favourite games are "tig" "hide and go seek" "Blind man's buff" "Trades" "Stag" "Base-ball."
    "Blind man's buff" is played as follows: a person is blind-fold. A number of other children are also in the ring. The blind-fold person runs
