- In most districts many feasts are observed in a special manner each year. To site one "St. Stephen's day". Boys go around from house to house singing with decorated bushes. They usually sing this little verse -:
"The wren, the wren, the king of all birds
St. Stephen's day was caught in the furze
So up with the kettle and down with the pan
A penny or two - pence to bury the wren".
