  1. There is a number of graveyards in the district namely Knockbrack, Redcity, Peppardstown Everards grange, Rathcool, Kilmacluck, Kiltynan. St. John'stown Magoury. All the above mentioned are still in use. There is a vault in Cooleagh which belong to the Burke's family who lived in Fethard at one time.
    The oldest date I saw in Peppardstown was 1800 and 1600 in Rathcool. There are ruins of churches in nearly every one of them. Unbaptised children are buried in Knockbrack. There is a story attached to the one in Redcity. It is that the church and graveyard were at one side of the road and one night when the people were in bed the church moved over to the other side of the road.
