    back, quicklime was put inside his riding boots and his feet were tied underneath the horse.
    On the vile testimony of the witnesses which failed in Dublin, he was convicted, and hanged and quartered three days later, on March 15th, 1766 at Clonmel. He died protesting his innocence.
