  1. About eighty or ninety years ago, there lived in the house where David Quinlan is living now a tyrant named Elliott. he was and English planter, and had a lot of soldiers guarding him. He was a great tyrant, and any one he thought was against the English he was hanged in the lawn. One day Elliott was going out on his horse. Just before that he was abusing a man named Lawrence, whom he had working. When (he had working) he was going out Lawrence said to him. "I hope you will break your neck and go to hell". Elliott said "when I am going I will call for you". Then he went out
