    and four short legs. Some of these stools were larger than others.
    Cradles.
    Hanging cradles were the most common. They were hung from the ceiling of the bed-room. It was made from sally sticks and straw. There was another kind of cradle called "The rocking cradle". It was made from wood and two lats under it in the shape of a bow to make it rock.
    Cups and Spoons.
    Cups and spoons were made from wood. The cups were much larger than now and the spoons were twice as big as the ordinary tea spoon.
