- (continued from previous page)(6) The cure for the "Yellow Jaundice" was to boil the bark of a Barberry tree and drink it's syrup.
(7) Leeneck or swollen neck was cured by applying wide green leaves like water-lily to the part affected.
(8) A cure for the measles was to drink hot whiskey punch.
(9) Anthony's fire could be also cured by prayer. - Cures for diseases in animals.(1) Sulphur and linseed oil mixed together and applied to the affected part is supposed to be a cure for ring-worm in cattle.
(2) Salt and Buttermilk given to cattle was supposed to cure the red-water.(continues on next page)
