One night little Johnny Hacket ws coming home late to The Commons village.
Near the Bridge he saw a very tall man, so tall that he could scarcely see his head. Johnny got weak after going into his own little house. The man barely turned round and looked at Johnny. It was after midnight at the time. Johnny was a collier, used to mend clocks and watches and was a nailer also for making nails for collier's boots.- Collector
