Most of them grow better on poor soil but the land is being ploughed, and manured better, and receiving more care now than formerly, and on account of this they are disappearing rapidly.Certain herbs are used for medicine, the chief of which are Dandelion Mushroom Red-Creeper, and Water-Cress.
