Then when he went in the old man and woman were sitting at the fire and the young man said to them "ye have a visitor to-night" and they said no that they had no one in the house but themselves and the young man said that when. he was coming in he heard a lovely song. So his father asked him next day did he get any sweet heart and he said not. Then that night the young man was going into the house he heard the singing again twice nicer than than the first night and he asked the old woman who was singing and she said she heard no one(continues on next page)
