    that he would see him to hell, first before he would give it to him. Then the farmer went home and that night the Landlord died sudden and he came for the farmer to see him into hell. Then the farmer took his horse for the dead Landlord had his horse also. And he rode on before the farmer and the farmer saw him going in through the gates of hell. Then the farmer turned back home with his horse and next morning a man came into the farmer and he said "Your friend the Landlord is dead" and the farmer said he well knew that. Then the man said "You could not know it before me" and then the farmer took him out into the stable and showed the man his horse. "Now do you see what happened me. The Landlord came for me when he died to see him into the gates of Hell and you see what happened me. My horse is burned alive and that is the mark that is left to me.
