    the boy outside the gate with her rod. The other two boys stood inside the haggart gate, and she had power to hit them with the rod. Then she went away and all her men, and they were never seen again. When his father got up in the morning, he had this three year's corn in his haggart, and his three sons waiting to see him, and he was more than surprised when he saw all his corn and his three sons. He gave out a great dinner with rejoicing for his three sons and his three year's corn. After the dinner the youngest son that won all for him said that he would go and seek his fortune. He carried three bottles of whiskey with him. Then he went along the road, and he saw a man inside the ditch, and he asked him what was he doing there. And the man said "I am listening to a ridge of beans growing that I am after setting." The young gentleman said "Will you come with me" and the man said all right, and the young man gave him some whiskey. Then the two travelled along the road together. Then they saw another man in a field and he was running after a hare on one leg. He had his other leg strapped up. They asked him why was he not running with the two legs, and he said that the hare would not be smart enough for him
