  1. One day as a man was working in a garden about two miles from the village of Lattin he suddenly struck against a stone as he thought, but soon he discovered it was a small box in which were two coins.
    They appeared to be rather old, one of them being dated 1784 and the other was blotted, and he could not discover on it.
    There was an other man working with him and he called him to tell him what he had found. I do not know what they did with them.
