  1. A ghost story.
    About seven years ago it is believed in this locality there was a man seen without a head.
    It is believed that he was seen in a gate-way which is called the Boher-crowe gates. At ten o'lock every night in the winter time, if a person was passing the gate he would follow them with a black dog at his side and as he would be walking he'd be getting taller and I can tell you that he frightened a good many people off the road.
