  1. A ghost story.
In the neighboring district of Ballycohey a light has been seen there for a number of years. This light appears between ten p.m and eleven p.m.
Those who have seen this light say that it comes very rapidly across the fields and when it comes within fifty or a hundred yards of the person that sees it, it disappears.
The old people say that the cause of this light is that there was a girl killed on the railway line by the mail train from Cork to Dublin, and ever since that time, this light appears regularly.
