  1. A fairy Story
The Irish have always believed in Fairies. Here is a fairy story told to me. I shall tell it in the persons own words. "One night when I was a little boy, I was returning home with my mother from a wake in the neighborhood.
it was a clear stary night about ten o'clock. We were on the Cullen road approaching Monard. Suddenly, as we drew near Mr. Heustons gate I saw a coming towards me a man so tall that his head was in line with tops of the trees. He passed between me and my mother. I was afraid to look after him. Years afterwards, a friend of mine saw him one night in the very same place.
