Tis considered unlucky for the bride (or the bridegroom when he marries away from home) to visit the old home before one month.
When a wedding party are leaving the or on the way to the station for the honey moon an old shoe or boot is tied to the car for luck. Confetti is thrown on the married pair when leaving the church.
