- There are no tailors now in the district, but in olden times there were. Tom Sullivan was the name of the tailor around here.
He used to travel from house to house when required. When the people wanted to get him to make a suit they had to give him the cloth. He had no machine and he made the clothes by hand. He used no special kind of Cloth only whatever kind was given to him.
There is a saying that a tailor has six toes. The geer the tailor use is a thimble, a scissors, an iron, a needle and a board.(continues on next page)- Informant
