    There was a King there long ago who had no son and one daughter.

    last one to come in was his youngest son of whom he was extremely fond.
    The King told his sone the fate that was before hime. So the boy set off. The father gave him plenty servants and money, so away he went.
    After the first days travelling, he put up in a Hotel. Morning came and he paid up his bills and he started on the second day's journey. That night also he put up in another Hotel, and when morning came he paid up his bills and started on the third day's journey.
    After this night he had not much money left so he told his servants to go home which they did. The next night he put up in a small village. He went into a little house at the corner where an old man and woman lived. He asked for lodging and they told him they had no accomodation for a rich Prince like him. But he said he only wanted the chair in the corner. The old woman set about preparing the supper of bread, butter, eggs and hot tea. Then they talked for a while by the fire. The King's son asked the old man what time would Mass be celebrated in the Parish church the following morning. The man sadly said that
