  1. Tom Scanlan was a man who lived in Breaffa a good many years ago. Father to the present Pat Scanlan who now lives in the same house. One time he took a heavy roller and put it into a horse car without help from anyone. Saying after the event "their will never again a Scanlan come that will do it."
    This story was told to me by my Grandfather
