boy. They ran home to the mother, and told her what had happened. They said that the boy was playing football with the fairies, and that he hurt his leg. The mother got frightened, and when the boy came home that night, she asked him where he was all the night. The boy said "that when he was going playing cards he went astray and before he knew where he was, he was inside in a fort."
Fairies used be seen coming out of the same fort, and going into a field, where they used play football. The boy said "that the fairies had kept him all the night playing football with them. But when he was leaving them they said, "Go home and ask your mother which would she rather to let you with us, or the pig in the cabin."
The mother told him to bring the pig to them. So he told the fairies, and the day after the pig died.
Then the mother and her son went to the priest, and while on their journey the boy used be knocked very often. They used also hear some one saying "Don't go with her."
