the lake. There were Danes living in Cahermurphy and they said the people living there would never agree. There was supposed to be money hidden near the castle in Castlepark. Michael Cahill and his son went rooting for it one day. The flag made a sound when they touched it. A cock stood on the top of the castle and began to crow. They were frightened and ran away. About a week after Michael Cahill went there again. He saw all the money Spread out on the grass and a small man with a stick minding it. Michael Cahill looked around for fear anybody would be looking until he take the money. When he looked again the man and the money had disappeared. Michael Cahill lived in Cahermurphy.
