    Election time is coming
    While the honey bee is huming.
    And the farmers are responding to the call.
    For throughout the county Clare,all the farmers loudly swear
    "Thomas Burke we will return to the Dail"

    The day at last is dawning
    When the farmers tired of yawning
    will sally for the now gallently and say
    with one loud and ringing voice
    Thomas Burke will get our choice
    We'll give him number one on "poling Day"
    3
    So dont forget "Thomas Burke,
    dont forget his noble work,
    his country and out-side it can proclaim.
