  1. There is a hidden treasure in the townland of Gurteen about two miles west of the school. About one hundred years ago a magician said that it would be found by twins and that one of them would have a hunch-back.
    It is in the land of Pat McTigue, and two of his sons are twins and one of them has a hunch-back. It is supposed that those two boys will find the hidden treasure.
