- There is a herb that grows in the bog with a yellow flower and it has a very strong root. This herb is great for curing a sick calf. Nettles are great for turkeys and hens when you boil them. A dog leaf is a great cure for a burn from a nettle. An ivy leaf is a cure for a sore heal.
Cúmhfuraí - It is a great cure for a broken leg or hand. There is a white flower on it. It is much like a thistle but is grows high.
