    it round it until it was round. They covered it then with leather.
    They had goal but the goals they had were two sticks standing apart from one another and if the ball went out between them it was called a goal.
    The hurleys they had were made of sally or hazel and the names they called them were "speacs".
    It was customary for the people to play other games beside hurling. They used play handball and bowling. Bowling was played along the road and handball was played again the wall.
