- There were alot of old customs carried on in the parish of Tullaroan. Some of these old customs are carried on still.
On St. Stephen's day all the young people dressed up in rags and went around the parish playing music.
There was an old custom around the parish such as skimming the well on the morning of the first of May. It was believed that whoever skimmed the well on the first of May the cows belonging to them would have more milk.- Collector
